Drum Shop Usa Custom snare drums are handcrafted one at a time to the highest level of sonic and aesthetic perfection. Selection of 100% North American Maple and natural age of the wood in desert area, enhance the sound of the shell to give you the harmony that you looking for. Available also “Demon” and “Viking” metal snares line: black nickel plated brass or hammered brass, vintage style chrome tube tugs and die cast hoops.
Transparent Stains
On the Custom Line, we use only the best penetrating stains with an excellent laquer finish in (satin, semi gloss, high gloss)
We can do a full color per drum or a bleed into another color (Sunburst) per drum.
If you see a color you like, please send us a note with the name of the color on the color chart and we can match it!

Keller VSS Maple Shells
We can provide just about any depth/diameter shell your looking for.
Shells are also available from 10 ply to 30 ply, of course it gets more expensive the more plies you order! We recommend and like to use 8 ply on toms and 10 ply on snares/kick drums! We also router a sharp 45 degree inside bearing edge with a small outside 45 degree edge followed by hand sanded 220 grit up to fine steel wool with a smooth wax seal only to make the most precise smooth beautiful sounding drum possible!

We offer a lifetime guarantee that all shells are free of any craftsmanship and material defects limited to separation or delaminating of plies or seams. We do not guarantee shells from neglect, normal wear and tear, or abuse. Should an issue with one of our drum shells develop, please contact us so we can discuss repair or replacement options.
Hardware
We offer a lifetime guarantee that all hardware components are free of any craftsmanship and material defects. We do not cover neglect, normal wear and tear, or abuse. Should an issue with one of our drum hardware components develop, please contact us for repair or replacement options.
Finishes
Drum Shop USA does not guarantee any finish type on any drum from shrinkage, scratches, stretching, tearing, warping, bubbling, fading or any other defects associated with neglect, normal wear and tear, or abuse. All drums should be stored with care, exposure to extreme heat, cold or intense sunlight can cause serious issues with most finishes. Should an issue with one of our drum finishes develop, please contact us for repair or replacement options.
